Heartland Community Theatre held its monthly meeting on January 12. In attendance were Rob Hills, Janet Smith, Linda Freese, Joan Fernandez, Mike Roelker, Von Schmidt, Dana Wyatt, Karen Switzer, Chad Mullins. Postcards for the Heartland 2023 Season have been mailed. Discussion about the upcoming fundraiser “Silver Lining Celebration”, the invitaitons are out, the menu is planned, decorations coming along, the banner is up in the window box. More discussion about the evening’s activities. The acoustic sound enhancement panels are scheduled to be built next Monday. The cloth covering is still an issue. The committe is working to find a resonable cost cloth.

call for “The Cemetery Club”, directed by David Scott, is scheduled for Monday & Tuesday, January 23 & 24. The Artistic Direction Committe has set the play dates for the 2024 season! Now looking for directors to fill those dates. The Monthly Movie Matinee begins again this month, Sunday, January 22, at 2pm. The Movie is “King Solomon’s Mine”. Next meeting is scheduled for February 9th. Meeting adjourned.
