The Lady Cardinals continue to separate themselves from the rest of the pack and are proving to be a team to watch moving forward as they added two more W's to their total with wins over Lexington and Odessa last week.
In their first contest on Wednesday night, the Lady Cardinals jumped on Lexington from the tip and led 21-6 at the end of the first. A 21-4 margin in the second led to a 42-10 lead at half and Clinton would cruise from there.
With many substitutions already taking place early in the second half, the Lady Cardinals surrendered the third, 10-7, and the fourth, 11-8 but still rolled to a 57-31 win.
Mercedez Brown paved the way for Clinton with 17 points while Skyte Wilson and Vyla Brown were also in double figures with 12 and 10, respectively.
