Students Learn From Doctor Of Physical Therapy

Mrs. Foster’s Health Occupations students had the opportunity to learn from Bobbi Rains, Doctor of Physical Therapy at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare.
Students learned about and practiced patient transferring techniques, bed positioning skills, as well as how they can show respect and dignity for the patient.
Health Occupations is offered to high school juniors and seniors who have an interest in the healthcare field. This Clinton Technical School course provides students the opportunity to earn several certifications including; Certified Nurse Assisting (CNA), American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare providers, Basic First Aid, and Dental Varnishing.
