Teacher Proud Tuesday

The Clinton School District is excited to join other school districts across the region in celebrating teachers on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
In February, the district celebrated and recognized the outstanding work of Clinton Technical School welding instructor, Marty Mitchell. Marty has been an educator for 9 years, all of those years here in the Clinton School District.
“Marty has been an integral part in my transition to CTS,” says CTS Director, Melissa Batusic. “He is helpful when it comes to how things have been done in the past and is happy to help his colleagues when needed. The opportunities he provides his students is beyond expectation. Marty does a fantastic job representing Clinton Technical School by serving as our liaison at Team Cardinal. He always has students’ best interests in mind and makes sure we are moving towards providing the best experiences for future graduates.”
“The opportunity to share real world knowledge and expertise of the welding industry with students and surrounding communities makes me proud to be a teacher,” says Marty.
We are so glad to have Mr. Mitchell on our team and we celebrate him and the positive difference he is making in our Cardinals’ lives.
