Dylan VanWinkle, age 29, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at his home in Clinton, Missouri.
Dylan was born on December 13, 1994 and departed this world at the age of 29. Dylan will be remembered for many things but most of all it will be for the love of his family. Dylan found the love of his life with Whitney Nickerson. He will also be remembered for being a loving and wonderful father to his girls.
Dylan never knew a stranger. Some would say he was a social butterfly, and they were correct. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, MMA and all things music related. Dylan loved mushroom hunting with his girls. He loved passing his knowledge onto his girls while looking for mushrooms. He was always so excited when the girls found them.
Dylan was a stay at home dad to his girls for the last three years. Dylan loved being a father and was always kind and loving to his girls. He will be remembered for his knowledge of random facts. He was always curious and asked a lot of questions, wanting to learn how things worked. Dylan thirsted for knowledge. He had a big heart and was first to help anyone in need.
Dylan is survived by his true love Whitney Nickerson and his three daughters; Serenity Lynne, Zoey Ann, and Rilynn Nicole Lee, his father Johnny VanWinkle and stepmother Sally of Clinton, Missouri, his mother DeAnna Rogers of South Dakota, his brother Corey VanWinkle of Clinton, Missouri, his sister Amber VanWinkle of Clinton, Missouri, his grandparents Dennis VanWinkle, and Nevin & Donna Carlyle. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dylan had touched each of us in his own special way.
Dylan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Janice VanWinkle, Eddie and Raye Anne Jackson, Martha Pasley Richardson, and James Gwatney.
Dylan has left a void that will never be filled. Dylan will forever be missed by his family and friends. His spirit will continue to live through our memories, stories and the love he had for his family.
