Sharon L. Ebeling

Sharon L. Ebeling age 76, of Chilhowee, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Sharon was born en route to the Warrensburg Hospital on January 19, 1948. She was the third of seven children born to Homer and Nadine (Dady) Cooper.
Sharon graduated from Windsor High School in 1966. Soon after, she was united in marriage to Marvin C. Ebeling, in rural Windsor, at Harmony Baptist Church. Marvin and Sharon welcomed two daughters to this union, Cindy and Susan. Sharon was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church in Windsor. She was an active member of the Shawnee Mound Cumberland Presbyterian Church until her health declined.
Sharon worked at the International Shoe Factory in Windsor for a few years. Later, she worked for Clearfield Cheese Company and Schreiber Foods in Clinton until her retirement. Soon after, her first grandchild Garett, was born followed by McKenzie and Camryn. Her grandkids were the light of her life. She also enjoyed planting and watching her flowers grow, trips to Colorado to visit her sister and family, and catching up with friends. Sharon volunteered at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Sharon’s mother suffered from Alzheimer’s, which made it important to her to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research. Sharon never met a stranger and she was the truest friend you could ever have.
Sharon is survived by her husband Marvin, her daughters Cindy (Aaron) Matthes and Susan (Bill) Kemper. She was also blessed with her grandchildren, Garett Matthes, McKenzie (Stephen) Mannino, and Camryn Kemper. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Myrna Shirey and Charla Cummins and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and 3 brothers.
Funeral services were held June 28, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Pastor Monty Stratton officiating.  The casket bearers were Bill Kemper, Garett Matthes, Kent Dady, Aaron Matthes, Stephen Mannino and Brad Beebe.  Harold Ebeling, Terry Borg, Dennis Stoneking, Bill Allen, Lester Flory, Robert Beebe, Michael Cummins, Don Freeman, John Dameron, Eric Dameron, John Williams, John Cook, Cameron Walker and Alvin Crooks were honorary bearers.  Interment followed in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
