Clinton Christian Academy Begins 25th Year

Clinton Christian Academy (CCA) is excited to be celebrating its 25th year of providing Christian education to Clinton and the surrounding communities! CCA began in 2000 in the basement of the First Baptist Church, Clinton with 27 students and 3 teachers! CCA is a private Christian school in Clinton, MO with an environment based on Christian values, patriotism, and a solid curriculum. CCA is a place where students feel safe and feel cared for by the staff and teachers. Students say their classmates are like family and they are happy to learn in a school where they can pray.
As our Christian school has experienced significant growth in both enrollment and facility, we’ve embraced an exciting era of expansion that enhances our ability to nurture and educate our students in a dynamic, faith-centered environment. This development reflects our commitment to providing a robust educational experience while staying true to our mission and values. CCA’s mission has remained constant as we strive “to offer a solid Christian-based education, Pre-K through the 12th grade, in a school where Jesus Christ lives in the hearts and minds of those who teach and those who learn”.
It is amazing to know how God has blessed CCA as we begin the new school year partnering with 104 families and 180 students enrolled! What began 25 years ago as a Preschool-8th grade school has grown to include grades 9-12. It is hard to believe the CCA High School that was added in 2017 with 4 students enrolled has grown to 31 students enrolled this year!
As our enrollment has grown, CCA has continually expanded its diverse programs. All CCA students benefit from completing a rigorous Christian curriculum, which integrates academic excellence with spiritual growth and values, fostering both intellectual and moral development. All students are encouraged to embark on a journey of spiritual growth as they engage deeply with their faith through enriching teachings, meaningful worship during weekly chapel sessions, and a supportive school community that fosters their journey in Christ. High school students can enhance their academic experience by taking advantage of advanced courses, dual credit programs, and specialized enrichment opportunities, which provide a head start on college-level coursework and career exploration. Extra-curricular activities at CCA begin at grade 5 and include basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track, as well as several clubs which include Student Council, FBLA, Pep Club, 4-H, Patriot Performing Arts Club, and Patriot Honor Society, and competitive robotics teams. A Scholar Bowl team will be available for interested students this year.
There are 34 staff members that will be ministering to students and families at CCA this year! Several new staff members are joining our team (pictured below): David Kelsay, Physical Science; Jessica Cobb, After School Study Program Supervisor; Keri Huisman, Art & K4 Para; Loretta Meyer, Food Services Assistant; Gwen Fischer, Kindergarten; and Hans Morris, Bible, World History, & US Constitution/History.
CCA is a non-profit independent Christian school, with faculty and board members representing many Christian denominations. The school utilizes a challenging Christian-based curriculum and many certified classroom instructors who promote Christian values, excellence in academics, and Christ-centered living. Clinton Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
