The “Smart Start Back to School Fair” for the 2024-25 school year will be held on Jul 18, 2024 at the Warsaw Community Building from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Free school supplies for Benton County students, regardless of income, will be available and the Elks Lodge will provide backpacks for those who need one.
Representatives from various community and state programs will be available to provide information about the resources that they have to offer.
Pre-registration for students from Cole Camp, Lincoln and Warsaw schools is open through June 30 and is encouraged for a “Fast Pass” upon arrival on the day of the event.
Pre-registrants' supplies will be packed before the event, allowing those families to pick their supplies up without waiting in line.
The event is sponsored by the Benton County Resource Network. Donations to assist with the purchase of supplies are welcome and can be sent to P.O. Box 1431, Warsaw, MO 65355. If interested in hosting a resource booth, please contact Gail Wallace at (660) 723-0375.
